Night of Travel - Schedule and Last Minute Preparations!

Hey guys!

Tonight's the night!

I can barely handle it.

I'll be leaving for Japan tomorrow morning at 3:00am. I'll be staying up most of the night to prepare, and to insure I'll be plenty tired enough to sleep on the plane ride. Because of complications, Megan, Franco and I are the only three students in our group who will be leaving early and taking a quick detour in D.C. before we meet up with the rest of the group in Newark to fly to Tokyo. Here's my general itinerary of events!

March 8th 
3:00am - Meet our chaperone on campus, drive to Albany Airport.
5:30am - Take off from Albany to Washington D.C. for our layover.
7:26am - Land in Washington D.C
8:27am - Take off from Washington D.C. for Newark, New Jersey.
9:46am - Land in Newark, NJ and meet up with Dr. Huang and the rest of the group. 
10:45am - Take off from Newark, NJ for Tokyo, Narita (Japan).

 












March 9th (Japanese time and dates now!)
3:00pm - Land in Tokyo, Narita Airport.

(It's about a 15 hour flight from Newark to Toyko, and Japan has a time difference of about 14 hours from the U.S. East Coast.)

From there, we'll all be exchanging our money for Yen and getting on a train for a four hour ride to Kyoto. LOTS of traveling lies ahead. I'm going to be dead tired by the time I get even close to a bed.














But it will be so worth it! I can't believe I am going to Japan! This is so wild!

I have a bunch to do before I leave, including maybe taking a nap at some point. But expect at least one more update tonight from me, and more if I have time between flights!
